Tama Woodworks Snare Drum 14" x 5.5" Black Oak WP1455BK-BOW

The Tama Woodworks 14" x 5.5" Snare Drum delivers a crisp, warm snare sound with solid attack in an accessible all-wood design. Built around an 8mm, 8-ply poplar shell, it offers a balanced response suited to everyday playing, rehearsals, recording, and live performance.

Finished in Tama's Black Oak Art Grain wrap with contrasting Matte Black hardware, the Woodworks combines a distinctive contemporary appearance with a versatile snare voice at an approachable price.

Sound & Performance

The 8-ply poplar shell produces a warm fundamental tone with enough attack and definition for clear backbeats and responsive snare playing.

At 5.5" deep, the drum maintains a relatively quick and articulate response while still providing the body expected from a full-size 14" snare.

Its balanced character makes it a practical choice as a main snare, an alternative snare within a larger setup, or an upgrade from an entry-level kit snare.
