Power Glide

The Iron Cobra 200 uses an offset Power Glide cam based on the design found in Tama's higher-level Iron Cobra 900 Series.

As the beaters move toward the drumhead, the cam geometry increases leverage through the stroke, helping deliver a strong attack without sacrificing a smooth, responsive pedal feel.

Spring Tight

Pedal springs can twist as they expand and contract, introducing unwanted resistance into the pedal action.
